Dearest Mr. Moon,
Do you know when people say family is everything? Family is the one who will always be there for you and support you, no matter what happens? It sounds like a myth that is exceptionally wonderful to be true.
Why my family is not like that? Instead of encouraging me to fly high, they are the ones who bring me down, break my wings, and snatch away my hope?
They are here, but not to provide me warm pleasant words. They say things I never dare to say out loud. Too cruel. Too evil. And it hurts so much more than I can bear.
I hate to admit it, but I think I’m jealous of everybody out there with a harmonious family. They share the laugh, the tears, the happiness, and the pain, together. They look unreal. Like some kind of fairytale that can’t exist.
Wait, Mr. Moon,
Look! There’s a falling star! Quick! Let me have a wish!
I wish my family will finally be happy when I am gone.
Alright, Mr. Moon,
I think it’s time to say goodbye. Oh, can you tell my family that I love them and I forgive them?
Thank you for always listening to me. You won’t have to anymore. See you in another life.
