Dream about you.

I had a dream about you last night. We were in the sea of strangers and you are the only familiar face I know. I called your name, it tastes so sweet and so right in my mouth. You looked at me with that angelic smile on your face and came to me, pulled me out from the crowd.

The wind was chilly, but beside you, I don’t feel cold. We talked about everything, as silly as exchanging dad jokes until as deep as the meaning behind the tattoo on your neck.

You said things you told no one about… your nightmares, your traumas, your insecurities. I can see behind your eyes, the sadness I never imagine you to have. You always look so happy, so cheerful. But at that moment, you looked heavily wounded.

Instead of saying anything, I reached for your hand and held it tight. Quietly, you held my hand even tighter. I smiled. You smiled.

When I woke up, somehow I can still feel the warmth of your hand.

I cried a bit this morning. Everything felt so real, but of course, it will never be. Because I’m just your fan from the beginning, and will never be more.

-But I’ll be cheering for you, even from 3276 miles away. Always.
