Different makes people uncomfortable

Once upon a time

there was a princess

who believes in herself

she thinks she’s beautiful

just like her mother

and fearless

like her father

But one day, she grabs her cloak

and sneaks out of the castle

she meets some people in the village

they don’t know she is a royalty

They didn’t like the way she looks

she is so different

and different makes people uncomfortable

so they call her weirdo

and other mean things

to make them feel good about themselves

She just smiles

and let people talk

because no matter what they said

she knows her self worth

and she doesn’t need affirmation

from those who are too dumb

and too insecure about themselves

so they decide to make other people

feel miserable too
